Technically, yes.
After removing the four adjustable feet from the bottom of the projector, four mounting points become accessible, and the projector supports ceiling-mounted projection mode.
However, XGIMI does not recommend ceiling installation for MIRA Series.
Reasons
- XGIMI currently does not offer an official ceiling mount designed specifically for MIRA Series.
- UST projectors are typically paired with ALR screens.
When positioned normally, ALR screens reject ambient light from above while reflecting light from the projector below.
If the projector is ceiling-mounted, the ALR screen must be inverted. In this configuration, the screen can no longer effectively reject overhead ambient light, which may negatively impact image quality.
If You Choose Ceiling Installation
- Ensure the mounting hardware is rated to support the projector's weight.
- Install the mount on a solid concrete ceiling.
- Maintain at least 10–15 cm (4–6 inches) of clearance behind and on both sides of the projector.
