On the Captions page, tap Start to begin caption recognition.
During caption recognition:
- Phone: The MemoMind App displays two sections. The upper section displays AI Capability. If both AI Capabilities are disabled, this section is not displayed. The lower section displays the recognized caption content. Tap the pause/play button to pause or resume recognition. You can also end caption recognition.
- Glasses: The display also contains two sections. The upper section displays AI Capability. If both AI Capabilities are disabled, this section is not displayed. The lower section displays the recognized caption content. Press the glasses button once to pause or resume caption recognition, or press and hold the glasses button to end caption recognition.
- Glasses indicator (Memo Memory off): The indicator remains off regardless of whether the glasses or phone is being used as the recording device.
Tap the Settings button in the lower-right corner of the MemoMind App to configure:
- Mode: Choose Online or Offline. Offline Caption Recognition does not support AI capabilities and only allows you to configure the recording device, transcription language, and display settings. Offline mode supports Mandarin Chinese and English only.
- Audio Input: Choose the glasses or phone as the recording device. When using the glasses, you can set the microphone pickup direction to "Front" or "All directions".
- AI Capability: Enable or disable AI Live Notes and AI Tips.
- Transcription Language: Select the language to recognize.
- Display Settings: Configure a dedicated display distance, height, and brightness for the Captions page. Auto brightness cannot be enabled from this page.
